During Miranda Cosgrove' summer tour, early Thursday morning, on August 11, 2011, Cosgrove broke her ankle in a bus accident in Illinois.

Miranda Cosgrove's injury forced the postponement of her U.S. tour dates "until further notice."

The crash occurred on I-70 in Illinois, outside the city of Vandalia. "There were 5 passengers on the bus, and Miranda suffered a broken ankle," reads a statement released by Miranda Cosgrove' publicist. "At this time, we are told everyone will be fine."

'iCarly' returning for fifth season, Nickelodeon Series Renewed for Season Five

iCarly Starring Miranda Cosgrove, the TV series attracted 7.4 million viewers last Saturday. That made it the most-watched cable program of the week and the most-watched kids cable show so far this year. Nickelodeon has just renewed iCarly for a fifth season of 13 episodes.

Created by Dan Schneider, iCarly revolves around Carly Shay (Miranda Cosgrove), a teenage girl who lives with her older brother, Spencer (Jerry Trainor).

Marjorie Cohn, Nickelodeon's president of original programming and development said "Our audience will be psyched to get more of what they love - new episodes of their favorite show, iCarly,"

"We are excited to see what Dan Schneider will do next with our favorite characters."

The fifth season is once again 13 episodes which production would start in 2012 for a premiere later that year, the press release said. Miranda Cosgrove herself has agreed on a new deal with the network.

Nickelodeon has announced the album will be released in April 2010, and the first single from Miranda Cosgrove 's upcoming album, "Kissin' U" was premiered on Ryan Seacrest's radio show on March 12, 2010 and will be released to iTunes on March 23, 2010.

On March 17, 2010, It was reported that Miranda Cosgrove had signed a deal, reportedly in the "low- to mid-seven-figure range" to do 26 additional episodes of iCarly.

On March 17, 2010, It was reported that Miranda Cosgrove had signed a deal, she has signed on with Nickelodeon to do an additional 26 episodes of the hit comedy iCarly in the “low- to mid-seven-figure range.”

iCarly’s “iSaved Your Life” special recently drew 12.4 million viewers, the network’s highest-rated and most-watched live-action telecast ever.

She is only 16 and headlines a kids cable series, but Miranda Cosgrove now boasts a paycheck that could rival that of many established broadcast sitcom actors.

Cosgrove, star of Nickelodeon's flagship comedy "iCarly," has inked a new pact with the network that's said to be in the low- to mid-seven-figure range. Under it, she will continue on the show for the 26 additional episodes the cable network picked up late last year.

Production on those episodes, which will bring the total order for "iCarly" to 96, is slated to begin in the spring..

A very talented girl is jumping into the music world! Nickelodeon star Miranda Cosgrove is following in the foot steps of other famous teens like Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez by releasing a 5 song EP on itunes.

The debut mini-album is called "About You Now" and includes remixes of her songs "About You Now" and "Stay My Baby" AS WELL AS two new songs "FYI" and "Party Girl." The new material is obviously destined for greatness because the singer worked with producer Dr Luke who is famous for his work with people like Britney Spears and Kelly Clarkson.

The Nick Princess says that making the album was fun and she even opened up about one of the ballads on the EP saying that it's about something she's experienced in her life and that she's "had guys that she's friends with that she's had a crush on and she didn't want to ruin their friendship."

It sounds juicy-and it is! Even better is Miranda's new video for "About You Now." The teen star goes rocker chic in the vid that shows her trying to win back the affections of a guy she initially thought she didn't like. When she changes her mind, she has to make her guy understand she was all wrong. It's super cute and her love interest isn't too shabby either.

Miranda Cosgrove aka Carly and martial-arts champ Shelby Marx (Zoey 101's and Spectacular!'s Victoria Justice) agree to have an exhibition fight for charity after Carly jokingly challenges her to a match. Unfortunately, Carly accidentally falls on Shelby's grandmother during a press conference. Thinking Shelby wants revenge, Carly backs out of the fight, only to be ridiculed as a coward. Carly visits Shelby and apologizes, and the fight is back on. However, Nevel Papperman alters a clip of the press conference to make it look like Carly intentionally tackled Shelby's grandma to dupe Shelby into fighting Carly. Shelby, furious, attacks Carly for real during the match, Carly then clinges onto Shelby's leg for the rest of the "fight". Nevel's plot is revealed and as punishment, he is beaten up. The show concludes with Shelby appearing on iCarly. Meanwhile, Spencer suffers from ridiculous side effects while taking an experimental allergy medication.

Viewers: The premiere for "iFight Shelby Marx" received 7.9 million viewers, the largest ratings ever for the show.

The movie's first three airings all scored in to the "Top 20 Cable ratings" that week and reached a combined 17 million viewers. Guest Stars: Victoria Justice as Shelby Marx, Sean Smith as Dr. Dresdin, Jonathan Spencer as Mr. Connick, and Reed Alexander as Nevel Papperman.

Spencer becomes furious, forces Griffin to leave, and forbids Carly to see him, though he eventually allows them to resume dating. Meanwhile, Sam pays Freddie $50 to make a website and has a lawyer write them a contract. Freddie cannot keep up with her demands and tears up the contract, canceling the deal; Sam later makes $1,000 for selling the website.

Part 1 of 2. Carly starts dating a bad boy, and Spencer does not react well when he finds out. Elsewhere, Sam want to post her most cherished gross-out videos online, so she hires Freddie to set up a Web site for her.

Part 2: When, Carly finds out that Griffin collects "Pee Wee Babies" (parody of Beanie Babies) during Griffin's and her kissing session, she and Sam make fun of him, unaware that Griffin is listening in. He eventually dumps Carly. Meanwhile, Sam dreams that a monster scares her and eats her soup. Spencer tries to help her but later ends up dreaming about the same monster.

Conclusion. Carly uncovers a secret about her new boyfriend that calls into question his bad reputation. Meanwhile, Spencer assists Sam in getting rid of her bad dream.

Unfabulous is an (United States) American children's television series on Nickelodeon (TV channel) in TEENick about an "unfabulous" junior high school student, played by Emma Roberts. They act out what happened to them during their trip, and Freddie videotapes them, plugging his camcorder into the iWeb Award screen. They win the award for best comedy, Kyoko and Yuki are arrested for kidnapping, and Carly, Sam, Freddie, Spencer, and Mrs. Benson return to America on what appears to be a fishing boat.

Miranda Cosgrove... It has also been revealed that She is in the middle of recording Crosgrove' debut solo album, possibly with a collaboration w/ the band Boys Like Girls.

Regarding Miranda Cosgrove' solo album, Miranda said, "...with the iCarly soundtrack, I didn't get to write any of the songs. I just picked songs that meant a lot to me that I really liked. Now, for my own CD, I've been co-writing and getting really into it. It's still pop-rock fun music like the iCarly soundtrack, but I think it's a little more mature. They're love songs and just fun songs about hanging out with your girlfriends." The album is probably going to be released in 2009 at some point.

Miranda Cosgrove is also working with famous pop producers the Matrix and Dr. Luke for Miranda' debut album.
